Man dies in a train accident, but his family says his son is not among the dead
MANCHESTER, England — A man who died after a train derailed on a bridge in south England has been named by his family as 23-year-old Anjali.
The family of the man who was found dead on the River Thames in the early hours of Saturday say his son was a father to five children.
Anjali, who had been working as a labourer, was a former member of the Royal Army Band.
His death was the second train crash in the region in as many weeks, with a man found dead in a tunnel at Streatham Station this week.
It is the second fatal train crash this year.
The incident comes after a man was found hanged in a trench at the London Underground on Thursday.
On Saturday, a woman who was working in a station car was stabbed and died of her injuries in the Portcullis area of the capital.
Authorities are investigating what sparked the incident.
