Training for Australia’s future air force, including the Royal Australian Air Force
The Royal Australian Army’s (RAAF) future air forces are being built and equipped in Australia, with the first of three new aircraft to be delivered by the end of 2020, the Defence Department announced.
The Air Force has been training its personnel and its pilots to fly the new A320 aircraft, which is being built by the Pratt & Hawker Aircraft.
It is expected to be operational by the time of the 2020 election.
The Air Force is now planning to build and operate the second aircraft, the A320C, which will also be delivered.
